Japanned servante. France, nineteenth century. The two doors, trimmed with gilt bronze and finely chiseled in a rocaille motif, are embellished with two polychrome lacquers that reproduce scenes of fêtes galantes en plein air, in the style of Wateau (1684-1721), the artist that influenced French rococo. This piece has a butterfly-shaped bois de rose veneer and an upper surface of Aleppo marble. It is in perfect condition.
Servante con lacche in Vernis Martin. Francia sec. XIX. I due sportelli, profilati con bronzi dorati, finernente cesellati con motivo a roccaille sono impreziositi da lacche policrome che riproducono scene di fêtes galantes en plein air, nello stile di Watteau (1684-1721), l'artista che influenzò il Rococò francese. Il mobile è placcato in bois de rose a farfalla e ha il piano superiore in breccia di Aleppo. È giunto ai nostri giorni in perfetto stato di conservazione.
